#MondayMotivation – Next stop – SXSW EDU Conference, let’s gooooo!!!!! 🥳 Just touched down in Austin, TX and have been looking forward to being a SPEAKER at this major conference for a minute!! Such an honor to get to do a presentation around my internationally published essay “Why Are There No ‘Great’ Kids of Color in the Performing Arts?” – a rhetorical question of course, and examination essay on inequities in the arts for kids of color (and educators of color) 🙌🏾 Continuing to raise awareness and thus raising the bar for how spaces show up in the work of true equity to support kids of color in the arts (and all BIPOC individuals) so that they can truly flourish!
