A couple days late, but in all of the busy fray, I’m so glad I got to see the world premiere of “One Way-Back Day” in its final weekend! Another show that I helped write and was on the creative team for
(and was supposed to direct it, but…you know lol) I am incredibly proud of my sis, Tresha Farris, for conceiving this production (and starring in it!!), and assembling our dope BIPOC writing team – James Brunt & Trịnh Phương Thảo (who were also in it!), James Farris, Chelsea Frye, and Sam Gilstrap. We adapted these beautiful Black folktales, and it was awesome to see all of our words come to life. I heard there had been some great reviews as well! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew!!
