I had such a blast the last couple of days with amazing artist colleagues from across the country at our National Young Audiences RAISE (Responsive Arts In School Education) Convening!! 🥳 Saw many familiar faces and made new friends for life 💖 the panels & sessions were so inspiring, I loved the visit we took to support a student art gallery exhibit, and the millions of dollars worth of artwork at our hotel was dope too! 🎨 Other highlights included getting to perform as a bumble bee in an impromptu performance with one of my groups 😂🎭 and of course…Karaoke night at Hot Boyz “hot chicken” spot was unmatched hahaha it was Raiders influenced too 😭🏴☠️ (I don’t think they even realized it though lol) and we met some fun OG locals! 💖 So grateful for the time, AND I can check off Indianapolis as a place traveled. All I knew about Indy was racing and the Colts 🤣 Until next time, my amazing colleagues!! Let’s keep our incredible work going!!! 🎉💖💯💃🏾
