Local Lab Director of CRIS LEAVES QUEENS

Yo, yo! We had a show! I had a blast directing CRIS LEAVES QUEENS for Local Lab during this crazy busy week 🤪 I’ve loved our playwright, Adriana Santos, since day one and this fierce cast brought her words to life in all the ways that this story needed. This show is about family, navigating grief, mental health, and how we deal with the cracks in our own (and others) foundations. There are so many valuable lessons and also some fun moments of Fortnite playing, rock band solos, ghosts, and psychedelic lights and sound lol you just had to see it! I couldn’t have done it without this dream team comprised of our playwright, stage manager, dramaturg, cast, tech director, and various Local staff. You all are rockstars. I also have to point out how refreshing it was to be in a predominantly BIPOC room 🙌🏾 Let’s gooo, shoowww!! (And group photo to follooowww lol) 🎉💖🥳🎭
